Haunted Tree Centerpieces

Halloween is just around the corner and this is great way to decorate your table for the season. Children will love this project and it is easy enough that they will be able to help you put it together!

Steps:

1. Cover table with gray cloth.

2. Fold orange cloth into a runner and iron to crease folds.

3. Gather delicate twigs from trees; coat with black spray paint.

4. Cut out 2 to 3 inch bats, witches' hats, and ghosts.

5. Cut 4 to 5 inch pieces of clear plastic wire; insert through tops of black cut outs, and tie in knots so the shapes will hang on twigs.

6. Arrange silver buckets on orange runner.

7. Fill silver buckets with florist foam to within 1 1/2 inches from the top of bucket; fill the rest of the bucket with candy corn.

8. Insert stems of twigs into buckets. Hang cutouts on twigs.

9. Sprinkle candy corn around the buckets on the table runner.
