
California Burger
Surf's up, calories down. These juicy ground pork burgers are made from a naturally leaner pork. Sweet carrots and just a drop of hot pepper sauce give this burger a warm and inviting West Coast flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 pound Smithfield Ground Pork
- 1 t. ground black pepper
- 1/4 t. salt
- 3 drops hot pepper sauce
- 1 grated carrot
- 3 T. chopped parsley
Steps
Gently mix together ground pork and seasonings shape into 4 burgers about 3/4-inch in thickness. Place over moderately hot coals in a kettle-style grill lower hood and grill for 5 minutes; turn and finish grilling 4 to 5 minutes more. Serve immediately on sandwich buns if desired.
