Classic Burger

Try this at your next cookout. Replace tired old ground beef with lean delicious ground pork. A little bit of salt and pepper is all you need to make a juicy burger they’ll love. Doesn’t take long to cook either; ten minutes on the grill and they’re done.

Serves: 4
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Smithfield Product: Fresh Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Smithfield Ground Pork
  • 1 t. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 t. salt

Steps

Gently mix together ground pork and seasonings; shape into 4 burgers about 3/4-inch in thickness. Place over moderately hot coals in a kettle-style grill; lower hood and grill for 5 minutes; turn and finish grilling 4 to 5 minutes more. Serve immediately on sandwich buns if desired.
